Are Things looking up?
To start off strong we are the ONLY TEAM to not make the playoffs in 10 years. Despite the history this team has. In the 25-26 we were 1st place in our division up until the Olympics and we could not get our momentum back after the break. The players didn't try as hard as they could've. I bought a ticket and went to the Red Wings-Bruins game and just by watching the game the players on the red wings looked slow and carefree as opposed to the Bruins players that were skating like they were trying to take our wild card spot(they did).
With how well our young players performed this year, I'd say the Red Wings are entirely screwed. DeBrincat playing great leading the team with 85 points, Raymond with 70 and Seider being a top 5 defenseman in the league. Not mention Are goalie Gibson Having a .901 SV%. The team has a lot of young talent with veterans like Patrick Kane and Dylan Larkin as all these younger players are hitting there primes things are definitely looking up for the Red Wings. As long as we can fix our consistency issues the Red Wings have a good chance of making the palyoffs next year.
